PVU 3.2 - Insights about new Farm and Lands
Dear PVUers,
2022 has been a good start for everyone, and so does PVU. We have witnessed drastic changes and improvements to the game since 3.0 and 3.1 – and we’re pleased to announce that 3.2 is on the way and will be live in the middle of March 2022.
The focal points of 3.2 is about the massive changes to how the Farm/ Land look and operate. That’s why we feel it’s necessary to share with the community some insights about what’s to expect.
And at the end of the article, we will also reveal the information about the New Land Offerings, so don't take your eyes off it.
FARM – NEW UI, GRAPHIC AND WAY OF OPERATION
Since the beginning, the Farm has been the main game feature up until now, in which you all enjoyed a little farming simulation game. To further enhance the playing experience of the Farm mode, we decided to change how to the Farm would look and work.
In tandem with other game modes such as Gathering, we want to unite everything into the same theme and style of isometric diorama formed by cubic tiles. That’s how the new Farm would look like.
With the new Farm, now you can easily manage your whole list of assets in a more direct, nice-to-the-eye method.
Every action such as watering the plants or shooing the crows away now can be done directly and in a more “gaming-intuitive” way.
All of your Lands now can be viewed and managed on a grid-based UI – which will greatly help with the navigation and accessibility.
NEW TIDBITS!
Also, by presenting the Farm mode in a total new look, we’re pleased to include some awesome improvements to the quality-of-life.
First of all, all the lands now will change their look depend on the current seasons!
Next, now the actions of watering the plants and shooing the crows won’t cost anything at all! Just simply click/ tap on the corresponding to do the deeds.
For the current owners of Pots, Watering Cans and Scarecrows – we will refund what they’re possessing when 3.2 goes live in LE.
For those big Whales who own a lot of Lands and Plants, you can opt to use the Water All or Shoo All function to immediately do the corresponding tasks to the whole Land – with the cost of some LE.
You can also jump from land to land just by clicking on the directional arrows, instead of having to go backward into the grid-based screen.
NEW MECHANICS – HARVEST BUFFS AND LAND LIFE CIRCLES
To further improve your playing experience, new mechanics are added into the game – such as how the lands will now operate. Each land now has its own life circle, which automatically deteriorates with each season passed. The more plants are planted on the land, the faster it will degenerate.
When the life circle of land ends, it will enter a “Re-cultivation Mode” – in which you can’t plant anything on it for the next 14 days.
Aside from the Life Circle, now you can boost the overall harvesting rate of the entire land by feeding it with Fertilizer. Fertilizer is a new item that can be crafted within the game via the Crafting feature, by utilizing scraps and leftovers of many things.
When the Harvest Buff reaches a certain milestone, you will gain the Buff effect of that tier. The buff gauge will slowly deteriorate, so you will need to constantly feed new Fertilizer to maintain the buff.
For the highest level of the buff (Tier 3), not only you would gain a hefty boost of LE generation rate, but now all the plants that are currently planted on the land will have a chance to generate special loots (materials) every 24 hours.
NEW LAND OFFERINGS
With a ton of new stuffs added to the lands, we understand that it would feel bad to not being able to enjoy these amazing features.
That’s why we decide to open a new Offering Event that sells lands – with the hope that everyone can gain access to new lands.
The new lands will be sold in 3 different ways:
Individual offer (cap 10 lands/ account)
Opened market (700 lands in total)
GACHA lands (300 lands in total)
There will be also a new type of land: Fixed Season Land. While the normal lands will circle in the Seasons – the Fixed lands won’t.
For example, if you happen to own a Fixed Spring Land, it will remain in Spring time forever!
The Fixed Season Lands are only available in the GACHA purchases.
The Offering Event will start on March 15th, 2022 and will lasts 14 days. So be sure to stock on these bargains to enjoy PVU to the fullest!
Cheers!
