PVU Farm 3.3 - New horizon awaits!
Dear PVUers,
It’s summer time now in 2022, and while the festivals are looming over the horizon, we’re pleased to announce that the 3.3 update for PVU will be live on May 5th, 2022.
This is also a grand update with major changes on how the game would look and play. Tons of new stuffs and features will be available in 3.3, and we feel that they should be shared to the community to quench the thirst for knowledge.
NEW UI/ UX FOR THE BARN
Since it was first released in 3.1, the Undead has been a key focus in both gameplay and economy-wise of PVU. Before, their main role is to convert LE into PVU Token (with some nice rewards along the way) – but with the release of 4.0 coming closer and closer, their role in the game would dramatically change into the better.
That’s why we decide to grant the Undead a more suitable environment for their activities and growth - The new Undead Barn. The new Undead Barn will be presented as an isometric, cube-based UI, forming a large yard in which the Undead are now visible, moving and chilling in some sort of nice garden.
Each Undead now belongs to its own Barn, which can be accessed freely to further manage the Undead. Each Barn is now working separately, and the users can upgrade them for gain great advantages in terms of Undead growth and other benefits.
ALTAR OF SACRIFICE/ ASCENDING
And just as we did share in the last announcement, 3.3 will also allow the users to sacrifice minor NFTs to gain Essence – a crucial resource to evolve their favorite NFTs.
By sacrificing an NFT, a user can gain Beast or Plant Essence, depending on the type of the NFT which was burned. The appropriate Essence can now be used to evolve other NFTs into Stage 2 and Stage 3, which are way more powerful and beneficial.
UI/ GRAPHIC OVERHAUL
PVU has been running for over 1 year with great success, and we’re aiming for a better future – that’s why we decided to totally improve how the game would look and feel by applying a graphic overhaul.
From the Main Menu, the users now can choose between 2 major game modes: Farm and PVE. From there, if the Farm is accessed, it will break down into minor features/ modes which are way easier to locate:
Farm: Access to your Lands and Farms, take care of the Plants and reap your sweet harvest
Gathering: Spend Stamina to play Minigames and earn unique materials to use in other features
Barn: Raise and manage your Undead, the backbone of your army
Shop: Spend LE to buy necessities to play the game better, such as materials and key items
SHOP
A new location has been added to the game: the LE Shop. The users can spend LE to buy necessary pieces of stuff in this shop. Each item will have a limited amount that a user can purchase per day. But don’t worry, they will be restocked at 00:00 UTC everyday.
And be sure to check back every 6 hours, since the Flash Sale tab will refresh frequently and you will earn a real bargain just by visiting the shop from time to time.
PREMIUM GATHERING
Keen players that have been playing PVU for a long time sure notice a sudden drop of general loots in Gathering Mode for a while. It was intentional since we were generous to give our players a good head start by applying an extra drop rate for new pieces of stuff so that they can prepare for new features.
But unfortunately, the era of actual players starts now. Free players can still access Gathering Mode easily, but the drop rate, as well as item rarities, will be severely decreased. This is a reasonable step to further differentiate the benefits of NFT owners, who have spent a fair share of fortune on the game.
Another Gathering Map would be added to the game, called “Premium Gathering”. To access this extravagant map, a user would need a unique item – the “King Key”.
King Key is a consumable NFT which can be bought from offerings, crafted in Synthesis Crafting or purchased from the LE Market. A King Key is required for one single Premium Gathering trip and will be consumed afterward.
But don’t worry, since the Premium Gathering Mode is designed to be worthy of the entry fee – as you can exit mid-game and return without resetting the route at ease. Also, the drop rate in Premium Gathering is WAY higher than the normal Gathering, and items of Legendary/ Mythic rarities only drop here.
So be sure to spend wisely and earn back things that truly befit the luxury classes!
SKILL TREE
As a way to add even more layers of depth to the game, we proudly introduce a new feature called Skill Tree. As the name implies, this is a major feature that allows the users to learn permanent passive skills that benefit them in different ways.
There are 3 different categories of skills:
Farm: Generally enhance the harvesting power and economic profit from the Farm
Undead: Generally improve the profit from the Undead, either to grow the faster or reduce the cost
Gathering: Affect general drop rate of loots and enhance Stamina efficiency
Each skill category is divided into 4 tiers, which the latter are generally way more powerful than the first.
To learn a new skill, you will need to spend a certain amount of LE. The higher tier the skill is, the more LE is demanded.
However, to upgrade a skill to a higher level, aside from a hefty amount of LE, you will need another kind of consumable NFT called Skill Book. Skill Books are also divided into 3 tiers:
Skill Book – Novice: used to upgrade a skill to levels 2, 3 and 4
Skill Book – Advanced: used to upgrade a skill to levels 5, 6 and 7
Skill Book – Expert: used to upgrade a skill to levels 8, 9 and 10
While the price to learn and upgrade a skill may look steep at first – rest assured since they’re guaranteed to give you a serious boost into the game, depending on which order and path that you decided to learn the skill. And they’re permanently effective, too!
To give our dear PVUers a strong head-start into the game, a new Offering will be opened from Apr 28th, 2022 to May 13th, 2022. Valuable NFTs that are crucial to jump right into 3.3 and prepare for 4.0 will be on display – so stay tuned and don’t miss the chance!
Cheers!
